Every piece of land has unique characteristics and physical properties. PureMan thinks more and realizes they are just like the little snowflakes.
There are many, many considerations when determining the placement and relationship of house to land.
PureMan’s house was made of concrete and was built on a hill facing south. This is taking full advantage of the winter sun (which sits low) and reducing the effect of the summer sun (which sits high). Having sunlight spilling into your home during winter also serves another purpose: it makes us happy. The house is all math and science. PureMan can solve any problem with his magic design pen—sort of like Harold and His Purple Crayon, but Harold had the wrong color.
